Alan has been with ARC since 1998. Prior to ARC, Alan was Head of Marketing & Strategic Accounts at Mitsubishi Electric Europe in Hatfield, England. His responsibilities included strategic development of product and system based business. He also managed the strategic accounts group which was responsible for business development of key vertical sectors including power, water, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, and transportation.
Before that, Alan was Senior Consultant at Intellution UK in Milton Keynes, England. Here he was responsible for supporting key accounts, marketing, and public relations. Alan also spent five years at The Foxboro Company in Foxboro, MA as a Project Manager, Lead Engineer, and a Systems Design Engineer. His responsibilities included managing and engineering major manufacturing and information management systems.
Alan received the Culwick Prize for graduating first in Engineering and Economics from Dundee University in Scotland, and received a M.S. in Software and Systems Engineering from Boston University. He has also completed courses in B2B marketing and business at Cranfield University School of Management in Cranfield, England.
