Asish’s focus areas include batch process control, safety instrumented systems, intelligent agent-based control, critical condition management, and nanotechnology.
Asish has over 35 years experience in process control in chemical, petro-chemical, aerospace, and mining industries. He has presented and published numerous papers, and is the joint author of the first book on batch process control. He has lectured extensively on batch control and has taught courses in USA and in Europe. He is a member of the ISA/SP88 and IEC WG11 committees and has been actively involved in generating the Part 1 of the batch control standard.
Asish has been with ARC for 10 years. Prior to ARC, he was with The Foxboro Company for over 20 years as application engineer, project engineer, principal engineer, and product marketing manager.
Asish is a graduate of Delhi University in India and has a Diploma in Advanced Studies in control engineering from Cambridge University in UK.
