Badarinath is a member of the ARC automation team focusing on research and consulting projects.  He has over 25 years of system & application engineering and project management experience in the field of control and automation.  Badarinath has extensive hands-on experience in instrumentation design, procurement & documentation, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of automation systems. 

Badarinath’s accomplishments in the automation domain cover a broad spectrum.  He has wide exposure to Pulp & Paper, Viscose Staple Fiber, and Electric Power Industries.  He has been instrumental in managing Automation Projects for two big projects, one in Indonesia and other in India, both for multinational companies

Before joining ARC, Badarinath held senior position as General Manager (Automation) and held additional responsibilities for the operation of Captive Power Plant, Environment & Pollution Control, and Safety, Civil departments.  He worked for India’s largest Pulp and Paper Company, Ballarpur Industries.  His recent responsibility included heading the Automation project team of a new $250 million Paper Machine Project.  Prior to this, he led the Automation Team of 300 TPD greenfield specialty Paper project of Sinar Mas of APP group, Indonesia.  Before joining Sinar Mas, he was Project Manager for Automation and worked for Pt Inti Indorayon, part of APRIL group, Indonesia.  Prior to this, he served GRASIM Industries, a Flagship division of BIRLA group and was part of Automation department.  He gained rich experience and developed deep insight into Pulp, Viscose Fiber and Captive Power Plant’s C & I system and handled many projects apart from regular maintenance.  Badarinath has been involved in evaluation of automation systems, productivity solution, and plant energy and safety audits. 

Presently Badarinath is part of the research efforts and consulting in India and is located in Bangalore, India.

Badarinath is an Engineering graduate of the Mysore University in Electronics and Communication.
