Ralph's experience includes 20 years in marketing functions for companies supplying solutions in the Collaborative Production Management market space. He also has 10 years experience in manufacturing and automation engineering roles at end-user companies in the discrete industries.
Ralph has developed “best practice” benchmarks for managing a Lean Manufacturing program and has developed definitive recommendations for program start-up and execution priorities. He is a Six Sigma Black Belt and has been involved with Six Sigma since its beginnings at Motorola and the roll-out at GE - a total of 20 years. His experiences at these firms provide him with a unique perspective for the management of a Six Sigma program.
Prior to ARC, Ralph was with GE Fanuc Automation (GEF) as their Manager of Marketing for their CIMPLICITY software and services. Prior to that, he was Intellution's Marketing Manager for all their HMI software products. Ralph spent 6 years at Digital Equipment Corporation as their Marketing Consultant for Manufacturing Applications. His responsibilities included managing relationships with software companies including joint development, marketing, and selling. Prior to that, Ralph held several positions during his 12-year tenure at Codex Corporation, a subsidiary of Motorola. Ralph also held engineering-in-manufacturing positions with Texas Instruments and General Electric.
Ralph holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and an M.S. in Management Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY.
