VP & GM Enterprise Advisory Services 
Sid is part of the management team at ARC responsible for developing the strategic direction for ARC products, services, and geographical expansion. Sid provides leadership to ARC's Enterprise Advisory Services & Research Team. He is also ARC's lead analyst for the Metals Industry.

 
Sid’s focus areas include Supply Chain Solutions, Asset Management Solutions, Product Service Management, Supply Chain Planning, Information Systems, and Enterprise Software.
 
Sid has over 30 years of experience in automation, information systems, and manufacturing. While the metals industry has been his primary focus, he has also worked in automated warehousing, engineering design, construction and supply chain.  While at ARC, Sid has done research in Simulation, Supply Chain Planning and Scheduling, Collaborative Manufacturing and Collaborative Asset Management.
 
Sid has been with ARC since 1997. Prior to ARC his professional career covered a broad range of engineering, managerial, and senior executive positions with leading electrical and equipment suppliers.  This includes Westinghouse Electric and two major equipment manufacturers that provide turnkey facilities for metals manufacturing where he established and managed Process Automation Divisions.  Sid was also Vice President and General Manager of Danieli United, one of the world’s leading suppliers of rolling mill equipment for the steel and aluminum industries. 
 
Sid holds a B.S. and M.S. in Physics from Carnegie Mellon University, and an M.B.A. and Ph.D. in Operations Research and Artificial Intelligence from the University of Pittsburgh.  He has continued his academic activities as an adjunct professor at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Business and as an adjunct and Assistant Professor of Management and Leadership at the University of Mary Washington, College of Graduate and Professional Studies in Fredericksburg, VA.
