Simon’s focus areas include Enterprise Resource Planning, Supply Chain Planning and Scheduling, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Warehouse Management, Transportation Management Systems, and Lean Manufacturing.

 

Simon has 20 years experience in manufacturing, market research, and business consulting. His career began in electronics manufacturing and after his MBA, he assisted manufacturers develop pan-European business strategies. He has been a board member of the European chapter of the Supply Chain Council and speaks regularly at conferences and exhibitions.

 

Simon has been with ARC since 1999. Prior to ARC, he wrote “Ovum Evaluates ERP for Manufacturers” a 400 page analysis of the major ERP suppliers ability to support manufacturing requirements.  His career started in electronics manufacturing, designing and developing world-leading scientific instruments.

 

Simon is a graduate of Cranfield School of Management and Exeter University and holds an MBA and an Engineering Science degree.  He has also taken the Supply Chain Council’s SCOR course, and is a member of the Institute of Marketing.
