Steve consults with Software suppliers on market opportunities and product direction and he conducts primary research in supply chain areas identified by ARC’s clients of being of high importance. He is also responsible for directing market research in Supply Chain Management and Enterprise Applications.

 
Steve’s focus areas include Warehouse Benchmarking, Supply Chain Best Practices, Supply Chain Maturity Model, Supply Chain Governance, Supply Chain Human Resource Management, Supply Chain Risk Management, Supply Chain Data Quality, Supply Chain Planning, Supply Chain Visibility, Warehouse Management, Warehouse Labor Management, Voice Recognition, Master Data Management, and Supply Chain Consulting Practices.
 
Steve is one of the best known industry analysts covering Supply Chain Management and a frequent speaker at industry events.  Steve runs structured workshops for companies using a framework, the SCM Maturity Model, for assisting clients with their SCM planning.  These workshops allow managers to rapidly drill down on their key challenges, compare current performance against benchmarks, identify possible improvement opportunities, and determine which opportunities make the best sense to focus improvement efforts on. 
 
Steve has been with ARC since 1996.  Prior to ARC he was a Professor at Stonehill College and Pennsylvania State University.

Steve's holds an MBA from Babson College and a Ph.D from Indiana University.
