Some of the key responsibilities for this position are:

• Research of a particular topic area, following ARC's established methodology, to create a market study in this area
  
• Assist the Analyst in developing a questionnaire based on current issues of this industrial market
  
• Help the analyst develop a five-year forecast of segment growth, with the guidance of a senior analyst or management
  
• Provide the primary analyst with research material to help the primary analyst write strategies for suppliers to use to best address the market
  
• Provide help to analysts in writing other documents pertaining to other ARC lines of businesses, which include Advisory Service Insights, Strategy Reports, Industry News items, and Web Page updates
  Assist in custom and consulting activities for specific clients as the needs arise

• A demonstrated ability to communicate in both written and oral formats, especially with telephone-based interviewing
• Excellent writing and presentation skills. Written work must be concise and persuasive
• Ability to manage multiple research and writing projects simultaneously
• A Bachelors Degree is required, an MBA is preferred
• Familiarity with the manufacturing industry is a plus
• Experience with personal computer applications such as Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
