ARC Benchmarking Tool
The ARC Benchmarking Tool compiles the benchmarking metric data and allows subscribers to generate a wide variety of reports to compare their data points with their fellow subscribers.
Reports are a combination of charts and tables and present the data of all relevant subscribers to that particular metric. Chart options include bar charts, X-Y plots, radar diagrams, and stacked bar to provide sophisticated analysis options for the subscriber. ARC also shares year-to-year changes in the metric 'mean' or 'average' or other statistical measures appropriate to that population.
The reports generated show each subscriber which data points belong to them. All other points are labeled with a pseudo name, thereby protecting the identity of the owners.
Chart and Report Types
Charts are automatically created in both Excel and PDF format.
Horizontal Bar Chart: This chart creates one horizontal bar for every available plant, unit, or project ID available. Included in this Excel-based report will be the figure and a table. The table contains the metric value for each ID and other 'metadata' related to the specific ID. Also provided is Average and Standard Devision values.
Box Plot: This shows the range of data for each region that was selected in terms of High, Low, 25%, and 75% values.
Multiple Metric XY Plot: One or more metric names are plotted versus another metric name. This allows you to compare possible cause and effect of one or more metrics to another.
MultiYear Historical Report: This report requires that you select a specific ID (plant, unit, or project) to look at historically. It uses all of the other IDs to create an average, 25% and 75%, to plot against this specific ID.
Multiple Metrics Stacked Vertical Bar Chart: This chart and associated table produces two stacked bar displays. One is the average of the multiple metrics produced and the second is based on a specific metric ID that you selected.
Multiple Metrics Stacked Horizontal Bar Chart: Produces a stacked bar for every Metric ID that is in the set of data from the Metric Names selected. This chart is intended to show Metrics such as the Personnel-based metrics in an accumulated view.
Radar Chart: This chart plots the average of each metric name in the data set versus the metric ID that you select.
