Janice has been involved with the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical, consumer products, and other hybrid industries throughout most of her professional career. This includes consulting with clients on anti-counterfeiting, disposables, regulatory requirements, enterprise control, automation, risk management, operational excellence, PAT (process analytical technologies), anti-counterfeiting, process engineering and collaborative production management or MES. Her experience includes automation and application of bioreactors and other processes, as well as working with the regulated industries.
A long-time member of ISPE (International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers), she has served as chairperson for several ISPE committees, as well as President of the ISPE Boston Chapter. Janice is a frequent presenter and leader at ARC and ISPE conferences, including meetings on anti-counterfeiting and operational excellence, and has authored numerous articles for Pharmaceutical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Technology, Control Engineering and other industry publications throughout her career.
Janice has been with ARC since November 2008. Prior to joining ARC, she was the Director of Pharmaceutical Industry Marketing at The Foxboro Company, Validation Technologies, and Invensys. She also worked on early cholesterol research at the Boston University Medical School Cardiovascular Institute.
Janice has a BS in Chemistry from Clark University, an MS in Chemical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and an MBA from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
