Presenting ARC's Fifth China Forum
Industry in Transition: The Information-Driven Enterprise in a Connected World
September 25, 2014 - Beijing, China (co-located with MICONEX)
New information technologies such as Internet of Things, predictive analytics, wireless, additive manufacturing, cloud computing, mobility, and 3D visualization have been getting a lot of attention in the industrial community as each has the potential to disrupt and radically change the way companies do business.
Information driven digital enterprises leverage newer technologies to achieve agility and sustain a competitive edge. Information driven companies take a holistic view of the production plant’s position within an extended value network. With this perspective, they apply information technology broadly to improve or replace business processes. Information technology has matured to the point where a host of new possibilities can be considered. The latest set of disruptive technologies only amplifies that trend.
ARC's 5th Annual China Forum, co-located with MICONEX 2014 and supported by the China Instrument and Control Society, will focus on key issues that are on “top of mind” for industrial end users and automation suppliers in China over the next five years. Forum participants will share forward-looking concepts and practical applications for emerging automation and IT technologies, including actual end user case studies. Major topics covered will include cyber security, control system lifecycle management and service strategies, industrial energy optimization, industrial analytics, Industrial Ethernet of Things, cloud computing solutions, asset information management, mobility and wireless solutions, intelligent field instruments and control valves, and other hot topics.
More than 500 technology professionals and executives from the industrial world participated
in ARC Advisory Group's Fourth Annual China Forum, August 29, 2013 in Beijing.
