Presentation Title & Abstract

Roadmap to Collaborative Integrated Business Planning for Whirlpool and Lowes
From CPFR to S&OP to integrated business planning, many companies today are finding new ways to collaborate across their businesses to improve their business performance.  In 2007, Whirlpool and Lowe's recognized the significance of their joint business together and set forth towards a more focused approach to business planning.  Over the last four years, the two companies have created an integrated business planning process that is not only having a direct impact on their planning efforts but is serving to re-shape their overall account management operations.  New relationships are being fostered each and every day as their collaborative efforts extend beyond traditional CPFR and S&OP.  Today, their fully integrated business planning process is providing the strategic direction for the future for both businesses.
