ISA Automation Week 2011 Features Knowledge and Networking

Overview
The International Society of Automation (ISA) held its Automation Week Technology and Solutions Event October 17-20, at the Arthur R. Outlaw Convention Center in Mobile, AL. The knowledge and networking event brought together over 1,000 automation professional from 19 countries. The new event format integrates a technical conference with solutions and applications by participating suppliers.

ARC's Chatha Honored
ISA continues its tradition of honoring automation industry leaders with the presentation of the Automation Founders Circle awards. Honorary Member, the highest award bestowed by ISA, recognizes special individuals for support of and contributions to the advancement of the arts and sciences of instrumentation, systems, and automation. This year's recipient was ARC Advisory Group Founder, President and CEO, Andy Chatha. Chatha's citation credits him for over 30 years in enterprise applications and automation as a successful CEO of ARC; executive advisor to some of the largest companies in the world; market analyst in the automation industry; project manager, software engineer; and designer of automation systems. An Honorary Member has the rights and privileges of a Senior Member. Congratulations Andy!
