EAM User Survey 2012: Current Practices and Future Plans

Keywords: EAM Trends, EAM, Enterprise Asset Management, Maintenance Management, Business Drivers.

This ARC Advisory Group survey of enterprise asset management (EAM) users focused on their current status and future plans for improvement. Most of the 184 end-user participants are involved with multiple plants and thus, their responses represent input from a total of over 7,500 plants or facilities worldwide. This provides a substantial body of knowledge for readers to use to compare with their operations and gain new insights for future changes.

The EAM survey charts in this report provide insights on maintenance management and EAM applications for end users and suppliers alike.

Users should compare their operations with the survey results to gain a better understanding of today's practices and gain ideas for proven improvements. To identify specific benefits and use these to help justify an EAM implementation project based on what others have done, users should first examine the "business drivers" section of this report.
