Keywords: Cyber Security, Critical Infrastructure, ISA 99/IEC 62443.
One of the two industrial control system (ICS) cyber security workshops at ARC Advisory Group's 2013 World Industry Forum in Orlando last month focused on a variety of critical challenges. These included discussions about the minimum requirements for cyber security preparedness, ICS cyber security compliance and certification of control system elements, patch management, and insider threats. A panel of industry experts led the discussions with short presentations and Q&A sessions accompanying each discussion.
Discussions were lively and attendees gave the session high marks, requesting similar discussions in future ARC Forums.
Session presenters and panelists included:
Eric Cosman, Dow Chemical (representing ISA99)
Bill Cotter, 3M (representing ISA99)
Jeffrey Gray, US Department of Homeland Security (DHS)
Johan Nye, ExxonMobil (representing ISA Security Compliance Institute)
Brian Uffelman, Cisco
