ARC Advisory Group's eleventh India Forum Achieving Breakthrough Performance through New Processes and Technologies from July 11-12, 2013 at Hyderabad, India attracted over 230 delegates. The delegates comprised an interesting mix of thought leaders and decision makers from key industrial segments, end-user organizations, technology solution providers, and the media. Delegates networked and deliberated on current challenges, available technologies, and best practices for process industries.

Although ARC largely structured this event for the process industries, it also attracted many delegates from the discrete sector. From the technology perspective, this was apt as numerous new technologies can be implemented across all industry verticals. The forum's focus was on maximizing productivity and business performance through appropriate technology investments. The session topics encompassed automation trends; energy optimization; asset performance; operational excellence and cyber security; control strategies; and enterprise and network security strategies for sustainability and growth.
