The Smart Cities Digital Transformation Council is the place to Connect, Collaborate, Learn, and Share with peers who are digitizing and transforming their organizations. It's a community for professional networking and collaboration. It exists to encourage the open exchange of ideas. Engagement drives the value of the council for both the community and individual members, so regular participation by members is encouraged.
This is the first of a monthly series of Smart Cities DTC Meetings.
Lastly, in order to encourage open dialogues, the SC DTC is an end-user only community, technology suppliers are not permitted to participate.
The need for digital transformation for cities, counties, states and public agencies continues to accelerate and evolve, so where should a Smart Cities advocate begin? How do you start the visioning process? How can you determine which technologies and techniques to consider? The answer will certainly be different for each organization, but a good starting point is to understand the critical dimensions of the problem, because this can serve as the basis for planning.
