For over twenty years, ARC Advisory Group has hosted the ARC Industry & City Forum, where over 1000 private and public sector leaders gather to discuss Digital Transformation, Cybersecurity, and Smart City topics. In its 2020 Forum, ARC Advisory Group is expanding the Smart Cities track – filling it with thought-provoking talks and discussion on topics that matter to you. On Wednesday afternoon, attendees will hear from industry leaders what opportunities and challenges the arrival of vehicle electrification will bring.
Vehicle Electrification: Operations, Charging, and the Grid
From electrification to mobility-as-a-service, transportation is changing fast! Like manufacturing and cities, transportation is also benefiting from digitization, connectivity, and the Internet of Things. Shared mobility, sometimes powered by vehicle autonomy, will make transport safer, more efficient, and less stressful.
Electric Vehicles have reached TCO parity for commercial use cases and are making sense for private drivers as well. This session will feature speakers and panelists showcasing how vehicle electrification is becoming a reality, and how charging can be done in harmony with the broader energy system. Public agencies, utilities, OEMs, charging entities, and integrators, as well as anyone interested in the all-electric future are invited.
Additional Smart City Sessions include:
- Smart City Platform Success Stories
- IoT and Smart Lighting Platforms: The Dramatic Impacts and Hidden Opportunities of Convergence
- The Future of Mobility
- Autonomous Shuttle Installation Tour & Ride
- The Cybersecurity Challenge for Smart Cities & Infrastructure
- Drones for Industry & Smart Cities
- The Future Electric Grid
- And much more…
The ARC Forum will be held February 3-6, 2020 at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld, 6677 Sea Harbor Drive Orlando, Florida 32821.
