For over twenty years, ARC Advisory Group has hosted the ARC Industry & City Forum, where over 1000 private and public sector leaders gather to discuss Digital Transformation, Cybersecurity, and Smart City topics. In its 2020 Forum, ARC Advisory Group is expanding the Smart Cities track – filling it with thought-provoking talks and discussion on topics that matter to you. At the end of the event, we will be touring an autonomous shuttle installation in Lake Nona.
Lake Nona Autonomous Shuttle Tour & Ride
From electrification to mobility-as-a-service, transportation is changing fast! Like manufacturing and cities, transportation is also benefiting from digitization, connectivity, and the Internet of Things. Shared mobility, sometimes powered by vehicle autonomy, will make transport safer, more efficient, and less stressful.
Lake Nona is a master-planned community in Orlando, pioneering sustainable and convenient living for its residents. To this end, the community implemented Move Nona – an autonomous, electric shuttle service connecting the residential and business centers via a fixed route.
On the last day of the ARC Forum, attendees are invited to join us for a trip to the installation, where we will hear about autonomous vehicle operations from the leaders of Beep, the transport company in charge of the vehicles, and take a ride on an electric robo-taxi.
Additional Smart City Sessions include:
- Smart City Platform Success Stories
- IoT and Smart Lighting Platforms: The Dramatic Impacts and Hidden Opportunities of Convergence
- The Future of Mobility
- Vehicle Electrification: Sustainability, Charging, and the Grid
- The Cybersecurity Challenge for Smart Cities & Infrastructure
