Mr. Uno graduated from the Department of Radio Communication, University of Electro-Communications in 1980, and joined Yokogawa Electric Manufacturing Co., Ltd. in the same year. He was involved in the development of office equipment and measurement systems, engineering and sales of products. Afterwards, he became engaged in new businesses such as sales of measuring instruments, solutions for developing lithium-ion batteries, and planning, development and sales of energy management systems. Mr. Uno has worked as sales manager, marketing manager, and development manager, and since 2013, has served as deputy manager of the sales division and as Toyota branch manager. In 2017, inspired by the passion of Takao Saito, president of Takasago Chemical at the time, he ventured into the continuous production business of pharmaceuticals. Since then, he has worked on NEDO projects, dissemination activities, and system coordination for the past six years. In March 2023, he was appointed Director of iFactory Inc.
