Allen started his career as a roughneck on onshore drilling rigs, however, spent most of his career on offshore drilling rigs. He had the privilege of working his way to toolpusher before becoming the electrician on Exxon’s Platform Heritage. Allen’s career has taken many turns over the years, including communication technician, I&E technician, programmer, senior programmer, field automation technician, analyst, and now OT architect. He also carries the title of Control Systems Design and Development Supervisor at Aera Energy.
