After a 10 year career in the US Navy working on nuclear submarines, Michael was given the opportunity to be part of a subsea training program in the oil and gas industry with R&B Falcon. From there his career led him to various leadership roles ranging from Senior Subsea, Corporate Subsea SME, Subsea Manager, and Director of Subsea Operations and Training. In 2015 Michael started Deepwater Subsea, a company that specializes in subsea operations, compliance inspections, real-time monitoring, and competency development training. He focuses on improving reliability, helping workers improve their operational knowledge of systems, and drive digital transformation through real-time reporting and monitoring.
