Keynote by CEISE Br
Brazilian National Center for Industries in Sugar-Energy & Biofuels Sector

The “Nova Industria Brasil” program was recently launched by the federal government, which aims to promote the digital transformation of up to 90 percent of the Brazilian industrial infrastructure. Some developing countries feel that recent technological innovations mean they might lose market shares and become more dependent economically on developed countries. But for others, these advances present themselves as opportunities to modernize their existing and to create new industries, automated with modern technologies. Open solutions present themselves as a viable option, capable of keeping up with the evolution of digital technologies and providing companies with the flexibility to adapt to increasingly frequent changes in the market. Libanio Carlos de Souza, the Vice President of CEISE Br - The National Center for Industries in the Sugar-Energy and Biofuels Sector of Brazil, will present some of these programs and the results obtained through them on Wednesday morning.

O-PAS Road Show

The road show event “O-PAS the standard of standards & Industry 4.0” will be part of ARC’s European Industry Forum 2024, on Wednesday May 8th from 10.30-13.00. It is already the second road show hosted by Nova Smar in partnership with ARC this year, as it successfully took place in Orlando, Florida, during the 28th Annual ARC Industry Leadership Forum in February. This practical experience will be limited to 20 participants to ensure an efficient, hand-experience session for all. Contributing companies and organizations will include Nova Smar, the Open Group, Intel, R. Stahl, Coalition for Open Process Automation (COPA), Exxon Mobil and Collaborative Systems Integration (CSI).
