Sid's responsibilities include leadership of ARC's Asset Lifecycle Management team, which develops products and services spanning topics such as Asset Portfolio Management, Project Performance Management, and Asset Performance Management.  Sid is also ARC's primary analyst for the Metals Industry. Sid has over 30 years of experience in automation, information systems, and manufacturing. While the metals industry has been his primary focus, he has also worked in automated warehousing, engineering design, construction and supply chain.

Sid has been with ARC since 1997 and has published numerous studies and strategic reports on topics as broad as discrete event simulation, supply chain management, asset and service management, and asset information management. Prior to ARC his professional career covered a broad range of engineering, managerial, and senior executive positions with leading electrical and mechanical equipment suppliers such as Westinghouse Electric, Tippins Incorporated, and Danieli & C SpA where he was Vice President and General Manager of Danieli United.

In his spare time, Sid teaches Statistics, Simulation and Optimization, Research Methodology, and Supply Chain Management. He was an adjunct faculty member at the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh for many years and more recently teaches at the College of Graduate and Professional Studies, University of Mary Washington, in Fredericksburg, VA.
