Tony has worked to improve Fixed Asset Management within General Motors since 1996, first as an outside consultant and then as an employee (2005). He currently leads the effort to ensure the processes, policies, standards, and systems are in place to achieve an order of magnitude improvement within the company. Prior to this position, Tony was the Global Manager of the Asset Sustainment Process. Tony developed the current Asset Sustainment Process. which allocates the $1.5 Billion US dollars spent across the globe to maintain the Manufacturing Plants capacity. This included developing the IT systems and the business processes to track the $40 Billion worth of assets, their condition, and the financial resources required to maintain production.
