Steve has spent roughly half of his career in refining and supply and the other half in research and engineering holding a variety of engineering and management positions. He has either worked directly in or managed a wide range of technology disciplines including process control, automation, real time optimization, instrumentation, project development, process analytics, electrical, offline optimization, and scheduling. In his current role, Steve is responsible for a portfolio of R&D programs related to the replacement of aging and obsolete distributed control system technology in refining and chemical manufacturing facilities.
