SAS
James is a principal in the Internet of Things group at SAS. He joined SAS from Larsen and Toubro (L&T), a $16B Indian engineering conglomerate based in Chennai, India. James led their business unit focused on the India Smart Cities Mission. In two and a half years, the BU has grown from $20M to $170M, and is considered the market-share and innovation leader. Prior to L&T, James spent 10 years at IBM, where he led efforts to establish global offerings in smart buildings, smart cities, and industrial analytics. He led teams of IBM research scientists, software product staff, and services teams to create globally-scalable solutions.
