Santiago is responsible for defending and extending the company’s market position in the region across four business areas. He looks for opportunities to accelerate growth and collaboration between thyssenkrupp businesses and strategic partners across the US, Canada, and Mexico. Santiago is responsible for leading projects such as the exploration of artificial intelligence technologies to support sales processes for 100 sales representatives, as well as business process design to facilitate centralization of shared services for 4 territories supporting 120 locations across the US. Before joining thyssenkrupp 2014, he worked in the Strategy & Operations practice at Deloitte Consulting for five years delivering solutions focused on business growth, margin improvement, and expense management. Prior to this, he served as special projects director in Bogotá with ERN Colombia, an international consulting engineering company, where he managed the risk assessment project pipeline and collaborated in projects across Latin America.
