Today's data-driven maintenance and operations teams are seeking greater visibility and interoperability between ERP, IIoT, edge, and EAM and APM systems. Priorities include collecting and disseminating real-time asset health and performance information from the various production and operations systems.
With well-planned and well-managed business processes in place, performance can be elevated even further by employing digital transformation strategies in such areas as production planning and robotics, including using such techniques as predictive maintenance, root cause analysis, reliability centered maintenance, mean-time-between-failure (MTBF), and mean-time-to-repair (MTTR). Maintenance and operations teams now have more timely, powerful, and accurate tools from which to better monitor their processes and manage their assets.
In this session, examples of success stories in smart ERP and smart asset maintenance in challenging environments will be shared. as well as thoughts about improving such metrics as revenue, profitability, and return on assets (ROA) goals.
