Peter Vega

Peter began his engineering career with DOW Chemical.  He joined FDOT in 1993 at the FDOT maintenance yard as an area engineer.  He transferred to St. Augustine maintenance in 1996 to oversee the Maintenance Management System.  He transferred to Central Office in 1996 to manage the State Sign and Structures Shop.  He transferred to the District Two ITS Office in 2002 and assisted in the development of the 10-year Cost Feasible Plan, the ITS Strategic Plan, ITS Standards, SunGuide software, and the 511 Program.  Peter is an Officer with ITS Florida as a public agency representative.  He became the TSM&O Program Manager in 2009.
