Brad is an operational excellence (OpEx) manager at Evonik, supporting the OpEx program implementation within Evonik’s Healthcare business line. He spent twelve years with Schlumberger’s Wireline business, where he learned how to understand technology from its first principles, how to operate a high-tech service business, and how to function with a “dual perspective” – keep the business running today and improve for tomorrow. After four years at Evonik he has seen that while the technical details change, the principles for operating a business, making things happen, and experimenting for improvement is the same for every business. This perspective provides a good starting point for understanding Brad’s approach to digitalization.
