Nathan was named president of Emerson’s Process Systems and Solutions business in June 2021. As president, he oversees a business that helps some of the world’s leading companies in a wide variety of industries leverage automation software and technologies to optimize operations, protect personnel, and reach sustainability targets. He has been with Emerson since 1999, when he began as a software engineer. Prior to his role, Nathan was president of Operational Certainty Solutions where he worked with customers to maximize plant uptime while improving performance and production and helped customers drive lifecycle return on automation investment. His team was responsible for helping customers capture significant business improvement by identifying the highest-impact opportunities guided by industry benchmarks and operational performance. In his over 20-year tenure with Emerson, Nathan has managed a wide variety of business areas helping organizations improve performance, safety and uptime, with a variety of management roles including vice president and general manager of Reliability Solutions, vice president of Machinery Health Management and vice president and director of Lifecycle Care.
