Arun exemplifies sustainable manufacturing and operational excellence at ITC Malur Foods Factory. A former Commander in the Indian Navy, he brings two decades of leadership, technical management, and execution expertise. At ITC Foods, he served as Central Manager Engineering for 10 ICMLs, overseeing engineering operations and maintenance. He helped drive the company’s 2030 sustainability roadmap, including more than 52 MW of solar capacity, and as Head of Industry 4.0 led a digital strategy focused on automation and data-driven decisions. His experience includes complex systems engineering and integration, from concept to delivery. He also spent seven years aboard India’s first indigenous nuclear submarine, Arihant, leading integration of over 15 software-based electrical power and control systems critical to its launch and readiness. Arun holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies from Jamnalal Bajaj University, Project Management Certification from IPMA, and an Executive Diploma in Corporate Renewable Procurement from Imperial College London.
