Latha has 34 years of industrial experience in oil & gas, refineries, petrochemicals, power and emerging energy technologies. Her work focuses on using digital and advanced computational tools to solve engineering problems, improving design quality, efficiency, and decision making. She also helps develop decision-support systems that enable smarter, data-driven engineering and operations. Latha has worked on many firsts, be it implementation of TMR SIL control system for petrochemical industry, HAZOP for power plants in India and FMEA for power plants. Latha is a frequent speaker and panelist at national and international conferences and webinars. She also represents TCE at various sectional committees of Bureau of Indian Standards and has authored and published many papers in national and international journals.
