Audi AG

Thomas is an IT Solution Architect at Audi and holds a PhD in deterministic communication networks from OVGU Magdeburg. He plays a key role in the Edge Cloud for Production (EC4P) program, designing and validating cloud-native, deterministic architectures for software-defined manufacturing and acting as technical lead during cross plant rollouts across Audi’s production sites. Beyond implementation, Thomas contributes to industry shaping through publications, public speaking, and participation in international standard bodies.

Francesc Luque was born in Barcelona and has a degree in Computer Science and MBA from La Salle BS. With 30-years of experience in digital manufacturing and automation in Pharma and Process industries, his main drive is making jobs easier by streamlining processes and gaining efficiency and quality. He is now MES/MOM Director of Almirall and leads their Integrated Factory program; an initiative to digitalize Almirall’s Manufacturing Operations globally enabling operations, processes and people gain access to valuable information instantly.

Stephan Schlauß is Global Head of Manufacturing for Siemens Digital Industries, Motion Control, since 2017, overseeing twelve plants across Europe and Asia. With 20+ years of global factory management, including China, he previously led low-voltage product plants. Under his leadership, the network achieved recognition for two World Economic Forum (WEF) awarded Global Lighthouse factories: Nanjing's First Digital Native Factory and Erlangen's Green Lean Digital Factory. He sets standards in digitalization, innovative manufacturing, and Lean Management.

Data Excellence Expert at Evonik

Dr. Michael Wiedau is Chairman of the Board of DEXPI e.V. and a Data Excellence Expert at Evonik. With over 15 years of experience in the process industry, he specializes in data integration across the asset lifecycle, from engineering to operations. Holding a PhD in Process Systems Engineering and an MSc in Artificial Intelligence, he focuses on semantic data models, interoperability, and enabling digital twins and AI-driven applications.
