Head of Automation Systems

Prof. Robert Harrison heads the Automation Systems Group at WMG, and was previously Head of the Digital Technologies Directorate. He joined the University of Warwick in 2013 from Loughborough Univ. His group focuses on applied innovation in robotics & automation including smart sensing, adaptive processes, and lifecycle engineering tools. Current research includes numerous collaborative projects in the automotive, aerospace & agri-tech sectors with industry partners including the Lear Corporation, SKF, Airbus & Safran as well as a wide range of SMEs.
