John is the Senior Principal Online Optimization Engineer at ExxonMobil Technology & Engineering (EMTECH). He holds both BE and ME degrees in Chemical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. Over his 31-year career at ExxonMobil, John has served in numerous technology leadership roles across a broad range of disciplines, including planning optimization, process monitoring, Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC) process engineering, major IT initiatives, operator guidance systems, and Real-Time Optimization (RTO) technologies. His work has consistently focused on advancing technical capability, improving operational performance, and enabling innovative digital solutions across the enterprise. In his current role, John leads the RTO Area strategy and oversees the health and development of the RTO job family. His responsibilities span innovation, business transformation, organizational design, and driving work process efficiency and effectiveness across EMTECH.
