The July Digital Transformation Council member online meeting will focus on the multitude of required connectivity solutions dictated by the complexity of the combined IT and OT landscape. Participants will take away an overview of challenges, options to tackle them, arguments for business cases, and a rough map for implementation.

ARC’s Craig Resnick will introduce the different types of solutions to take into account, including approaches to information modeling and application rationalization. That will be followed by a panel of data experts, moderated by ARC’s Valentijn de Leeuw,  who will share their various approaches for creating and maintaining a connected data strategy.  Key issues discussed will include

  • How to manage data organically grown over time and through M&A, once connectivity in place, data flow to a heterogeneous landscape of applications.
  • How to make sure teams, peers, and organizational units understand the data and each other.
  • What are the benefits and challenges related to visualizing and analyzing operational data, and what cost is associated with not acting?

Panelists include:

Wojciech Szerlag - Manager Machine Diagnostic, Capabilities & Field Support
Philip Morris International OPS Engineering Solutions

Konrad Waldeck - OT Specialist CO-ME | Engineering Services & Technologies
Nestlé

The end user-only DTC is free to join, and you’ll be able to have open and frank discussions with your peers. If you like to join this month’s meeting, just join the DTC for free and you will be automatically invited.
