ARC Digital Transformation Council Meeting Preceding NAMUR General Assembly 2019
Digital Transformation Council Meeting: Information Modelling throughout the Asset Lifecycle

November 6, 2019 – Bad Neuenahr, Germany

ARC Advisory Group and the NAMUR management have aligned ARC’s Digital Transformation Council  (DTC) activities for end users and the NAMUR working groups on Industrie 4.0.  The Council is a platform for users to exchange experiences, strategies, and tactics in digital transformation.  The NAMUR Industrie 4.0-related working groups focus on use case identification, technology development, and the specification of requirements of future standards.  ARC and NAMUR believe the two activities are complimentary, and will ensure they remain complimentary, to avoid double work.

This Digital Transformation Council meeting focuses on the theme, “Experiences with Information Modelling throughout the Asset Lifecycle".  It will be held between 11 AM and 3 PM in order to allow participants to attend the NAMUR member meeting starting at 4 PM.  The exact location and the other details will be published shortly.  DTC participants are responsible for their registration for the NAMUR General Assembly.

Dr. Felix Hanisch, the president of NAMUR e.V. will kick off the DTC meeting, and express NAMUR’s point of view regarding the common goals of supporting industry on their digital transformation journey.
