ARC India's annual forum (for process and discrete industries) will be held on July 9th and 10th 2015 at Hotel Le Meridian, Bangalore. The Forum provides an appropriate networking platform for key decision makers and thought leaders to share their experiences and insights on best practices, strategies, and technologies, along with suppliers of automation systems, enterprise solutions, and manufacturing IT solutions. The knowledge transfer will come from case study presentations, panel discussions, workshops, and peer-to-peer networking.
The theme of the forum is the information driven enterprise for the connected world and the Forum presentations will revolve around this central theme. The topics that were discussed at the last India forum have now gained momentum and the upcoming forum will highlight the subsequent trends and developments. The agenda has been formulated in such a manner that the topics covered at our forum will be of relevance to both end users and suppliers. The industrial internet revolution is taking place due to the convergence of automated industrial systems with the power of advanced computing, analytics, low-cost sensing and new levels of connectivity permitted by the internet. The deeper interlocking of the digital world with the world of machines holds the potential to transform the global industry. The Industrial IoT promises improved performance of manufacturers' service operations through remote connectivity as well as incremental connectivity-based revenue streams that represent entire new opportunities. It is evident that information and automation technologies will play a greater role in the production process than in the past; by automating all industrial processes that don't require human intervention and empowering humans with the timely, in-context information they need to improve performance, they can achieve operational excellence. All these topics will be discussed at the forum.
