John is Managing Director of ETP, an interoperability focused system integrator and consultancy, and is the co-founder of the University of Western Australia’s I4.0 ERDi TestLab. John and the ETP and ERDi teams have been contributing to OPAS, ISA-95 and B2MML standards for many years and are recognised for the first implementations of ISA-95 modular interoperable solutions into the mining industry. John is a veteran of the Australian Army and has a background in electronics and telecommunications. The ERDi team has been responsible for the establishment of the OPAS Part 5 Systems Conformance Testing capability.
