As Subject Matter Expert on Process Automation Systems, Jacco Opmeer is working on Shell’s global automation strategies. Jacco has been co-leading the Open Process Automation Forum for a number of years, with a focus on creating a healthy business environment through the adoption of a fit for purpose O-PAS™ standard. In addition, Jacco is Executive Board member in the International Process Automation Users' Association WIB. He has 35+ years of experience in the Process Industry in Engineering, Operations and Maintenance.
