Matthew Dulcey is an American entrepreneur, with close to 10 years’ experience in industrial automation with a focus on diagnostic systems, innovation, and creative solutions to needs of field operations. His first experience in diagnostic systems, was for PROCENTEC a digital data communications company. The focus was for protocols such as PROFIBUS, PROFINET, EthernetIP, and EtherCAT. He held positions as Head of Commercial Innovation, Chief Commercial Officer, and Chief Technology Officer. Some of the developments that were instrumental in the growth of the company, were software such as PROFINET commissioning wizard, development of a modular hardware devices for monitoring industrial ethernet, and industrial security license for detection of in the field potential threats. During this time, he initially worked with machine learning systems. He was granted a patent for “Method, A diagnostic system and a computer program product for diagnosing a Fieldbus type network”. This patent focused on analysis of the voltage signal characteristics of a Fieldbus signal, then categorising the signal into a probability matrix for perceived or categorised communication error.
In 2024, he and his partners formed a new company called PRONETIQS. PRONETIQS is located in Rotterdam and is focused on delivering diagnostics in a new and smart way within the industrial automation space. The first solution from PRONETIQS, is an innovative solution utilising reverse PID analysis to detect wear and tear in mechanical systems, without the necessity for additional hardware.
