Octávio Paschoal has 15 years of experience working on instrumentation and control systems, in areas such as applications engineering, automation projects, and electronic R&D. He has been engaged in projects and events in South America, Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia, and has expertise in fiscal flow metering across the sugar & ethanol, oil & gas, and chemical industries. Octávio is an engineering team member of the Open Process Automation Standard (O-PAS) at Nova Smar. His interests include Fieldbus Technology, communication protocols, SCADA, and control systems integration. He holds a B.Sc. (Control and Automation Engineering) and an M.Sc. (Electrical Engineering - Automation and Industrial Electrical Systems).
