Jitendra currently leads ExxonMobil’s Carbon Credits and MRV Technologies program. His scope includes identifying and managing emerging Carbon Dioxide Removal credit opportunities and driving integrated digital solutions that enable accurate measurement, reporting, and verification (MRV) for Low Carbon Solutions initiatives. Additionally, Jitendra’s EMTECH organization represents business interests in advancing technology goals for low-carbon solutions. With a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, Jitendra brings a unique blend of technical depth and strategic leadership. Over the past two decades, he has led transformative programs in automation, optimization, and AI technologies—turning innovation into practice while leveraging ExxonMobil’s scale and integration to enhance profitability. He has played a key role in Operations’ digital transformation, integrating emerging AI and advanced process control technologies. Jitendra has more than 20 years of manufacturing experience across Chemicals, Refining, and Research organizations within ExxonMobil. He has served ExxonMobil facilities globally in various management and technical leadership roles.
