Based at the Shell Scotford Complex in Alberta, Canada, Yinan is an ICE supervisor who leads the global rollout of Procedural Automation (PA) for Shell, scaling digital procedures that enhance operational consistency, safety, and uptime. He also chairs Shell’s Procedural Automation Community Network, setting standards, templates, and best practices while supporting deployments across sites worldwide. Yinan also contributed to the validation of the new EAE platform for PA applications at Scotford, as well as the pathway to autonomous operations through an AI proof of concept initiative.
