Bobby Norris has over 40 years of experience in industrial automation. He worked extensively at Dow Chemical and is a graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He is FCC licensed in radio communications (WD9BAU / PG1835011) and is a Six Sigma Black Belt (Wave 12). At the Dow Chemical Plastics Technology Center, Bobby served as a DCS Automation Subject Matter Expert with deep expertise in Rockwell, Foxboro, Triconex, Honeywell, and Emerson systems. At Dow Chemical Clear Lake, he acted as a Safety Instrumented Systems coach and ISA-61511 engineer. He later supported Arkema at the Clear Lake site as a SIS and DCS migration Subject Matter Expert. Bobby is also an OT Cybersecurity SME and an Arkema OT-IT integration specialist, where he designed and implemented resilient and secure industrial network systems.
