Paul Hunkar is an independent consultant. He works for Yokogawa as well as the OPC Foundation. For the OPC Foundation he is Director of Compliance. He has extensive knowledge of OPC, especially related to the Unified Architecture (UA) standard. He is an editor of multiple parts of the OPC UA standard. He is a member of the OPC Foundation Technical Advisory Council. He is active in OPC Foundation Field Level Communication (FLC) as an editor and chair for the base information model and communication specification. He is the technical lead on the MDIS OPC UA companion specification. He is involved in O-PAS, including editor for multiple parts and support for the O-PAS Certification effort.
