Wade is a Senior Engineer at Toyota Body PE, where he leads the I4.0 Applications Implementation, IIoT Network Standards, and manufacturing equipment standards for IIoT. With 15+ years’ experience in Industrial Maintenance and Electrical Technology, he is using his real-world experience to help develop shop floor standards and advance Smart Factory technology and digital automation. Prior to his current role, he previously held leadership roles in industrial maintenance at Toyota and engineering and project lead roles at the local plant level. In addition, through his career he has gained shop level experience in maintaining robotics systems, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems, troubleshooting and problem solving, PLC programming, and more. His current role focuses on standardizing IIoT applications for Toyota Body Weld processes, OT network installation standards, and equipment predictive maintenance standards that best reflect The Toyota Way and Toyota Business Practices.
