Amid this evolving environment, in Europe, a coordinated cyberattack in December 2025 targeted Poland’s energy sector, simultaneously impacting multiple renewable energy facilities, a combined heat and power plant, and a manufacturing company.

Justin Nga brings over 28 years of technical and management experience within the domains of OT and IT, and has worked with the of oil & gas, petrochemicals, mining, power, manufacturing and transportation industries throughout the Asia Pacific region. Starting his career as an Industrial Controls and Automation engineer before specialising in industrial communication networks and security, his career progressed into organizational cybersecurity strategy, governance and risk management. He now leverages his cumulative experience to pursue a deeper context of OT Cybersecurity, whilst adopting a pragmatic approach in managing cybersecurity risk holistically. He is a regular industry speaker across Asia Pacific and is currently the Cybersecurity Manager for the CitiPower, Powercor and United Energy, an electrical power distribution business in Australia.
